Hello and welcome back to my blog! This week for gospel reflection there was a story about a poor widow who put 2 small coins in the gift box. Jesus said that she gave more than any of the other people who gave more money because they gave what they didnt need, but she gave all she had. I hope you like my Work

House of Bricks Reflection
My favourite Lego activity was the mosaic because I liked that no one could ruin it and it made me be able to show my artistic side.
My least favourite Lego activity was passing the bricks because I had a vision of a house and they changed it and made it into a pirate ship.
The activity that tested my perseverance the most was car racing because we had to keep changing the car so it would go faster.
The most challenging activity was car racing because we didn’t know if we were going to do it right and make it be able to move properly.
I did not enjoy working collaboratively with others because I like to be independent and work by myself.

Stereotyping
Hello and welcome back to my blog! This week for writing we have been looking at stereotyping. Stereotyping is when you think something of someone because of the way they act or dress. People also get stereotyped because of their gender. I made a poster about woman/girl stereotypes. Here is my poster:

Pollution
Hello and welcome back to my blog! For the past couple of weeks we have been looking at persuasive writing. Persuasive writing is when your trying to convince someone to agree with your opinion. We had to write persuasive text about a real world problem that we were really passionate about. I chose pollution. Here is my work:
Pollution
What impact does pollution have on our lives? We're killing the earth from pollution. Did you know we put chemicals in what we are trying to breathe. I know! I wouldn’t want to breathe air that has been polluted.
Did you know that any kind of rubbish in the ocean makes a big impact. One single piece of plastic can break up into small pieces and kill animals like turtles if they eat it. Pollution isn't just rubbish, it can also be things like oil.
Did you know that any type of things like smoke and gas pollute the air? They can go onto stuff like trees and bushes. Trees produce oxygen and oxygen is what we breathe. We need to look after them.
Did you know that cars need gas to run, well if you didn't they do and it pollutes the air. They also produce smoke which also pollutes the air. Did you know that it could give you things like lung cancer and many more.
Pollution kills animals, pollutes the trees and bushes and can give you many diseases. So what do you say, I say let's stop pollution.
Whats something your passionate about?

My Hobby!
Hello and welcome back to my blog! This term we have been learning about happiness. For reading we were writing a story about our hobbies and why it makes us happy. I chose my favourite sport netball. This is my work:
I play netball because it makes me happy. It keeps me fit and healthy.
I also like it because it makes me a part of a team, not just any kind of
team, a group of friends who are always there for eachother. I also like
it because its fun learning new skills and motions.
It makes me feel happy because it gives me a chance to leave the real
world and let me do what I love. When I'm out on the court my mind is
set on working the ball down the court to get it to the hoop. When I'm
out on the court it feels like everything is amazing and nothing can go
wrong, it keeps me away from reality.
Being a part of a team makes me feel like I have a big group of friends
who are always there for me when I need them. Whether it's on the
court or when we are at school or even when we are at training they
are there for me no matter what. That's why I love netball and my team.
What are your hobbies? What makes you happy?
